Real estate decisions are usually the most important financial decisions the average person ever makes. Therefore it is important that you know that your Realtor is trustworthy, experienced and competent. So, at the risk of seeming to "blow my own horn," let me say that in my 16 years of local real estate experience I have earned many productivity awards in Franklin & Hampshire Counties. In recent years, for example, I have averaged over $10,000,000 in sales, per year, and averaged almost 1 transaction per week. In most of my transactions I represent the seller.

The National Association of Realtors has designated me as a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS). This is the highest designation awarded to sales associates in the residential sales field and recognizes professional accomplishments in both experience and education - especially in regard to listing property and representing sellers. Less than five percent of Realtors hold the CRS designation.

The National Association of Realtors has also designated me as a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES). This means that I have completed the required education program, have demonstrated the necessary knowledge and have the experience to counsel senior clients through the financial and lifestyle issues of real estate transactions. Less than five percent of Realtors hold the SRES designation.

I am certified by the National Association of Realtors® as an e-Pro Internet Professional. All e-PRO Internet Professionals are REALTORS® who have completed a rigorous certification program and extensive training on how to employ the latest techniques and services of the Internet for your benefit. e-PRO Internet Professionals maximize your ability to leverage the enormous power of the Internet when you are buying or selling property. Less than five percent of Realtors have the e-PRO designation .

I am also an Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR). The requirements for this designation include a comprehensive course in buyer representation, a written examination on the legal and practical aspects of client representation and practical experience in the field of buyer representation. The ABR designation is the benchmark of excellence in buyer agency service. It demonstrates to buyers that the agent has taken steps to continue their education in the field of buyer representation, and has the proven experience and training to deliver ethical and professional service to real estate buyers.

The University of Massachusetts Extension Program conducts a course that is the requirement for taking the Massachusetts Realtor examination. I am a regular guest lecturer in that course in my two areas of expertise: real estate marketing and the practical aspects of real estate transactions from the prospective of both the buyer and seller.

I am very aware that a real estate transaction is a very stressful experience for both buyer and seller. By bringing my experience to bear in a focused and mindful way I will do everything I can to take as much stress out of the process as possible.
